IMPACT! delivers energizing workouts that combine cardio kickboxing, heavy bag training, and self-defense basics. Our dynamic fitness classes are designed to burn calories, improve strength and coordination, and build confidence. Serving clients from all over mid-Peninsula including Belmont, San Mateo, Foster City, Redwood City, and San Carlos. We are open during class hours only. Self Defense Strategies
Decrease the chances of becoming a victim through increased situational awareness and having the basic knowledge of self defense techniques. This class offers hands on training on setting boundaries, escape routes, de-escalation and basic striking techniques. More…

An exciting and dynamic martial art workout with plenty of strength, cardio and core work to keep your body guessing. It will take you from kickboxing to Tae Kwon Do to MMA drills on the heavy bag, body shields, and kicking targets!
KB Basics
This kickboxing fitness tutorial cover the basics: form, footwork, stance, punches, and kicks. Learn basic moves before you start class OR if you have previous experience, improve your own techniques and get more in-depth.
About us
Established in 2012, IMPACT! Kickboxing Fitness is a group exercise fitness studio located in San Carlos, CA offering a variety of group fitness classes including kickboxing fitness classes, heavy bags workouts, aerial silks and straps classes. Our classes focuses on fitness and is geared towards those who are 12 and up, serving clients from San Mateo, Foster City, Belmont, Redwood City and San Carlos.

Do you offer free trial class?
You are welcome to drop-in to any kickboxing fitness class for $35/class. Schedule your complimentary 60 minute Personal Orientation where we will get to know you, make sure we’re the right fit for you, help you create a roadmap to your goals!
Do you accept reservations?
Yes, we accept reservations. Please call us or book online using Momence App or through our website.
What are your operating hours?
We are open during class hours only! Check out our schedule and find a kickboxing fitness class that fits you!
Can my children watch while I workout?
Children are the best thing in the world! To keep them safe (and obey our insurance rules) children 13 and under must remain supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times. If a parent or legal guardian can’t sit with them, unfortunately the children will have to stay at home.
Do I need to sign up online to take kickboxing fitness classes?
We require reservations for all 9:30AM Weekday Group fitness classes at least 1 hour before class starts using our online reservation system via Momence App or using Chrome or Firefox browser. If you did not reserve for PM classes, just come to the front desk and provide us with your name so we can sign you up.
What do I bring for kickboxing fitness class?
- Hand wraps & boxing gloves
- Water bottle
- Towel
- Indoor shoes
What classes should a beginner take first?
We recommend starting with our Kickboxing Tutorial, KB Basics if you are a beginner and this is your first time doing kickboxing. This tutorial covers the basics: form, footwork, stance, punches, and kicks. Available to all IMPACT! trial offer clients AND kickboxing members, learn basic moves before you start class OR if you have previous experience, improve your own techniques and get more in-depth. Is parking available at the studio?
Yes, we have a parking lot in front of the studio.

“Focus Keenly on Form/Technique”
Three reasons I love Impact and have become an addicted regular again after a few years away post-covid: Each class seems to complement every other. Combining kickboxing classes with foam rolling or ‘fusion training’ sessions is giving me whole-body benefits in both strength and mobility. The workouts are intense while accommodating growth for varied fitness level.Instructors are friendly and focus keenly on form/technique (especially Grace!). If you just pay attention and follow along, improvement almost happens by itself.
