We are thrilled to officially announce a brand-new addition to the IMPACT! Kickboxing Fitness lineup: TRX Strength and Cardio. After a high-energy pilot run that left our “test drivers” sweaty and impressed, we are bringing this game-changing format to our permanent schedule starting Wednesday, March 4th at 6:30 PM.

What is TRX?

TRX stands for Total Resistance Exercises. It was developed by a Navy SEAL who needed a way to stay in peak physical condition with limited equipment. Using a system of high-quality suspension straps, you use the power of gravity and your own body weight to perform exercises.

Why TRX at a Kickboxing Studio?

You might be wondering why a kickboxing-heavy studio is adding suspension training. The answer is simple: We want to make you a better athlete.

While kickboxing is the ultimate output for cardio and power, TRX is the “engine” that drives that output. Here is how this class transforms your training:

  • 360° Core Tension: Unlike machines that support your body, TRX forces you to stabilize yourself. This means your abs, obliques, and lower back are “on” from the first rep to the last.
  • Low-Impact, High-Intensity: We’ve blended suspension strength moves with strategic cardio bursts. You get the heart-pumping benefits of a HIIT workout without the wear and tear on your joints.
  • Total Control: You are the machine. By simply adjusting your foot position (leaning in for more challenge or stepping back for less), you can make any move easier or more intense.

Tiffany is certified in TRX coaching, ergometer rowing coaching, and is a certified personal trainer through the NSCA. Like most coaches, Tiffany strives to help her members get a great workout, improve their abilities, and have some fun!
