Jill’s journey into the field of nutrition has deep roots in her early experiences on the stage. Born and raised in the sunny city of San Diego, her passion for the performing arts was ignited at the age of four where she first enrolled in jazz and tap classes. After graduating from the San Diego School of Creative and Performing arts, her successful career as a performer included dancing with Holland America Cruise Line, touring the United States as a solo aerial silks artist with Troupe Vertigo, and performing as an aerial mermaid at SeaWorld San Diego. During her career on stage, Jill recognized the vital role of nutrition in enhancing the health and performance of artistic athletes. This insight led her to pursue a BA in Communications and later an MS in Nutritional Sciences. Currently completing her dietetic internship with plans to become a Registered Dietitian by the end of this year, Jill is on a mission to teach circus artists, dancers, and all fitness enthusiasts how to nourish their bodies for optimal performance and lifelong health.
